Windows 11 24H2 is now available for Windows 365

Two new images based on the 24H2 build of Windows 11 have just appeared in the OS gallery dedicated to the Windows 365 service.


However, it can be noted that the "OS Optimizations" version is not available.

Create a new provisionning rule

Below is the procedure to create a new provisioning rule and deploy it to Windows 365 devices.
  • Go to https://intune.microsoft.com/
  • Click Devices / Windows 365 / Provsionning Policies
  • Select Create policy
  • Complete the Name field and select Join types details and click Next

  • In Image tab
    • Select a System image
      • In this case, select Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2 or Windows 11 Enterprise + Microsoft 365 Apps 24H2
      • Click Next
  • In Configuration tab,
    • Complete the configuration elements according to your needs
    • Click Next 
  • Scope tags, click Next
  • In the Assignments section, select a windows 365 users group  and click Next
  • Review + create, click Create

Reprovisionning an existing Windows 365 client

  • Go to https://intune.microsoft.com/
  • Go Devices / Windows 365 / Provsionning Policies
  • Modify an existing provisionning rule
  • Go to Devices / Windows 
  • Select your Windows 365 Device
  • Click Reprovision
